Guildhall exhibition highlights Exeter’s close links with the monarchy Guildhall exhibition

A free exhibition of rarely seen items relating to the monarchy is taking place at Exeter’s historic Guildhall.

The exhibition is being held as part of the city’s celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III, which takes place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May.

The exhibition, which runs daily from 10.30am to 4pm until Saturday 6 May, includes displays of memorabilia, regalia and photographs which are usually stored out of public view at the Guildhall.

The unique items have been donated and collected from various Royal visits to Exeter over the years. The collection includes signed portraits of King Charles III as well as the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

Guildhall Mace Sergeants will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the various items.
