Big Quiz raises huge sum of money for retiring Lord Mayor’s charity

A big quiz night in Exeter has raised an incredible £5,647 for the departing Lord Mayor’s charity.

The annual Really Big Quiz, held at Exeter Corn Exchange and hosted by Simpkins Edwards, was packed with tables of teams from workplaces and organisations across the city.

The winners on the night were On Your Marks, a team from St Mark’s Church in Exeter, who proudly walked away with the Big Quiz trophy.

All proceeds from the evening will go to the Exeter Dementia Action Alliance, the chosen charity of the retiring Lord Mayor of Exeter Yolonda Henson.

Organisers Simpkins Edwards thanked everyone who entered a team, bought a raffle ticket, bid in the auction and made the night such a success. Thanks in particular go to the Sea Cadets for all their support, and to all the Simpkins Edwards staff who attended and helped make the event run smoothly.
