Winter Citizen set to pop through Exeter letterboxes The Exeter Citizen

Jammed full with news, information and features – including all the Christmas events - Exeter City Council’s newspaper, The Exeter Citizen, returns this month.

The Winter 2023 edition of the Citizen will be delivered to homes and businesses throughout the city during the week commencing Monday 27 November.

Naturally, this month’s publication focusses on the festive season and all the main events leading up to the big day.

There’s news about the panto at the Corn Exchange and how to win a family ticket by taking part in a simple competition, plus lots, lots more.

The Winter edition helps residents prepare their homes for winter, with information on how to obtain affordable loans for home improvements thanks to a partnership with the not-for-profit Lendology.

There’s an interesting feature on how community groups are benefitting from ticket sales from the Exeter Community Lottery and how City Council workers who help keep Exeter looking good were recognised at a recent awards ceremony.

As ever, there’s the handy Your Councillors page with all the information on how to contact City Councillors in every ward, recycling information and news about what’s on at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, Exeter Corn Exchange, as well as the latest from Exeter City of Literature.

Readers can also find out how to get involved in a series of consultations coming up concerning the future growth and development of the city. And those looking for Christmas present ideas, then why not treat a friend or loved one to spa-only membership at St Sidwell’s Point Leisure Centre.

Look out for the Citizen as it pops through letter boxes throughout the city. Once finished with the Citizen can be placed in green wheelie bins and recycled along with other household items
