Loaded with news, features and useful information, Exeter City Council’s newspaper, The Exeter Citizen, returns this month.

The Summer 2023 edition of the Citizen will be delivered to homes and businesses throughout the city during the week commencing Monday 5 June.

This month’s publication leads with a front-page story on the Exeter Community Lottery and how the initiative is set to raise thousands of pounds for local charities, community groups and good causes. Tickets for the Lottery go on sale on 27 June, with the first draw set to take place on 22 July.

There’s a handy Your Councillors page with all the information on how to contact City Councillors in every ward, plus the recent election results. There’s also a feature on the new Lord Mayor and Deputy and details of FORCE Cancer Charity, who they will be supporting over the course of the next 12 months.

This publication also has handy recycling information and news about what’s on at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, and Exeter Corn Exchange.

Also included is a regular feature on Exeter UNESCO City of Literature, with special event listings.

Look out for the Citizen as it pops through letter boxes throughout the city. Once finished with the Citizen can be placed in green wheelie bins and recycled along with other household items
