Storm Eunice - Bin collections in Exeter

Published: 17 February 2022

Storm Eunice Bin Collections Bin collections in Exeter

The Met Office have issued a severe weather warning for very strong winds on Friday morning.

Exeter is currently subject to an amber warning.

As things stand, we are asking residents who are expecting a bin collection on Friday to put their bins out as they normally do, making sure that all waste is as secure as possible.

Our crews will then collect as normal on Friday morning, as long as the forecast has not worsened.

However, if the Met Office forecast changes and Exeter is placed on a red alert for extremely high winds, there will be no collections on Friday morning.

If that is the case, and when it is safe to do so, bins should be taken back to the property for the next collection, which will be in two weeks.
