Help shape a tenancy strategy for Exeter Tenancy Strategy for Exeter

Council house tenants and other interested parties in Exeter are being asked to help shape a tenancy strategy for the city.

The short online survey can be completed here https://bit.ly/3v8tLmA and the survey will be available until Friday 3 December.

As an extra incentive to complete the survey, five lucky participants drawn at random will each receive a £20 shopping voucher.

The strategy sets out the Council’s expectations for how all social tenancies in Exeter could be managed, and how the Council will specifically carry out a range of options available to manage its housing stock.

Local authorities are required to adopt a tenancy strategy to assist social housing providers like housing associations in Exeter to develop their own tenancy policies.

Cllr Laura Wright, Lead Councillor for Council Housing Development and Services, said: “We’re really keen to hear people’s views on the type of tenancies the Council could be offering. The survey only takes five or ten minutes to complete and will help us develop a framework for the future.”

The survey is open to council house tenants but also the wider public and anyone who would like to take part.
