Please do not leave clothes or any other waste beside the recycling banks

We are still having to clear away a lot of clothing from beside the textile banks.

As we have advised before, the banks are closed until Salvation Army is able to resume their collection rounds.

Clearing this waste is generating a lot of work during a challenging time; moreover, dumped clothes will likely become soiled and non-recyclable.

Please do not leave clothes or any other waste beside the recycling banks.

Meanwhile, the recycling team have advised that the recycling banks (glass and textiles) have been removed permanently from Magdalen Street car park.

The car park is being resurfaced and barriers installed that will prevent access for collection vehicles.

The nearest alternative banks are in the Triangle car park.
