Lighting up the work of nurses and midwives

Exeter's historic Guildhall was lit up in blue last night to mark International Year of the Nurse and Midwife.

Exeter City Council paid tribute to the work of nurses and midwives by lighting up the building.

2020 is Florence Nightingale’s bicentennial year, designated by World Health Organisation as the first ever global Year of the Nurse and Midwife. Nurses and midwives make up the largest numbers of the NHS workforce.
