Official: Exeter is one of the most popular locations in the UK

We already know it but now it is official – Exeter is one of the most popular locations anywhere in the UK.

The city has been ranked in the top 10 most popular locations according to YouGov Ratings, which measures Exeter’s popularity and that of other locations every quarter.

The latest data is based on 3,878 nationally representative interviews of the UK population, collected during the third quarter of 2021.

It is based on whether people have heard of the location, whether they like it, dislike it or are neutral.

It ranks Exeter as the 9^th best UK location. It is the highest ranked location in the South West, ahead of Plymouth and Bristol. York was judged to be the best location.
