Exeter Plan consultation extended by a further two weeks

Published: 28 November 2022

Have your say on the Exeter Plan The Exeter Plan

Thousands of people across Exeter are having their say on the future of the city by taking part in the Exeter Plan consultation.

The Exeter Plan will be the blueprint for future development in the city, detailing where development should go, what it should look like and how it should work alongside key issues such as climate change and housing.

To give people further opportunity to comment on the Plan, the consultation period is being extended by an extra two weeks to Monday 19 December.

Cllr Emma Morse, Lead Councillor for City Development and Planning, said: “Thank you Exeter for getting behind this consultation, engaging with the Plan and sharing your views on how the city should develop over the next 20 years.

“Officers from the City Council have spoken to over 900 people at the face to face roadshow events, in addition to taking the plan to young people, community groups and city stakeholders. And we’ve had a huge amount of people visiting the survey - over 11,000 - to leave their views on the Plan.

“It’s been a wonderful opportunity to listen to so many of you about important issues affecting the city and how we can work together as a community.”

The final roadshow exhibition is due to take place on Thursday 1 December at St James’ Church Hall, Mount Pleasant Road, from 1pm to 7pm.

And it’s not too late to comment via the survey platform which will remain open until Monday 19 December. https://exeterplan.commonplace.is/
