Exeter Marathon The Exeter Marathon

On 14 May, the Exeter Marathon will take place at Piazza Terracina. The event is an ideal course for both first-time competitors and seasoned runners.

Set along a traffic-free, flat route, participants can enjoy the scenic footpath and cycle track by the River Exe and Exeter Canal.

Taking place in Exeter, one of the South West's most active cities, runners and supporters alike will have plenty of beautiful locations to admire.

The Marathon offers an opportunity to inspire and raise funds for charity partners or a cause close to your heart.

The race begins at 8:45am for runners aged 18 and over. Participants have a maximum of six hours to complete the course, with timed cut-off points in place. Finishers will receive a Marathon medal and t-shirt.

A limited number of free places are available for those raising money for the organising charity. Interested participants can email david.gribble@ecfc.co.uk.

A 5-mile event runs alongside the Marathon, catering to all abilities and welcoming runners aged 13 and above.

The route takes participants along Exeter Quayside, through Riverside Valley Park, and back to the finish line at Haven Banks. This race starts at 9:30am.
