Exeter Leisure Centres to Reopen

Published: 26 November 2020

Reopening Leisure Centres in Exeter are to reopen

Leisure Centres in Exeter are to reopen to members on Thursday, 3 December, following the ending of the second national ‘lockdown’.

Booking of activities by members online will begin at 5pm on Thursday 26 November, by following this link https://exetercc.legendonlineservices.co.uk/enterprise/account/login

The health and safety of customers is the City Council’s number one priority and staff will be on site in the lead up to reopening to ensure that the centres are clean and safe to use.

Staff are very much looking forward to welcoming users back, however to allow the centres to operate efficiently there are a few guidelines that need to be adhered to:

  • At this time, only members can use the centres. There are no casual pay-as-you-go options
  • Activities must be pre-booked in advance
  • There will be no cash payments on site
  • Users must observe the social distancing signs and instructions at all times
  • Users must use the anti-bacterial gel/spray on entering the centre and clean down surfaces and equipment
  • Users must come ready to exercise and remember that showers and changing facilities will not be in use for the time being
  • Centres will initially be operating on a limited activities timetable. Please refer to individual centres for a list of pre-bookable activities available
  • Users must take care of themselves and others by following the new centre rules
