Eight new councillors now serving their wards following Council elections Eight new councillors

Exeter’s eight new city councillors have spent their first week representing the people of their wards in the city.

The eight new councillors elected following last week’s City Council elections are:

  • Paul Knott, Exwick, Labour
  • Carol Bennett, Heavitree, Green
  • Catherine Rees, Heavitree, Green
  • Josie Parkhouse, Pennsylvania, Labour
  • Martyn Snow, Pennsylvania, Labour
  • Marina Asvachin, Priory, Labour
  • Tess Read, St Davids, Green
  • Joshua Ellis-Jones, Topsham, Labour

Details of the Council’s portfolio holders and other constitutional arrangements will be discussed and decided at the Annual Council Meeting, which takes place at Exeter’s historic Guildhall on Tuesday 17 May at 7pm
