Big name employers confirmed to attend Exeter’s largest Job Fair

Many of Exeter’s biggest and best known employers will be taking part in this month’s Exeter Jobs Fair.

The Jobs Fair – Exeter’s largest – takes place at Exeter Corn Exchange on Tuesday 22 March and will be open from 11am until 2pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Hundreds of jobs and opportunities will be available at the Jobs Fair, which is organised by Exeter City Council and Exeter Job Centre.

Among the employers confirmed as attending are:

• IKEA
• Haven Holiday Parks
• University of Exeter
• Lidl
• Devon and Somerset First and Rescue
• NHS Partnership Trust
• Stagecoach

There is no need for jobseekers to book for the event – people can just turn up on the day.

There will be a range of different employers advertising their vacancies, as well as recruitment agencies and other support services.

Jobseekers are advised to come prepared with their CV to hand.

Anyone who is currently claiming benefits should talk to their Work Coach about attending.

Cllr Rachel Sutton, Exeter City Council’s Lead Councillor for the Skills Agenda, said: “It is great to be able to work collaboratively with Exeter Job Centre again to put on the Exeter Jobs Fair.

“It matches jobseekers with employers from a variety of sectors who are looking for staff, and is a great opportunity for people to come along and discover what is on offer in Exeter.”
