Young explorer kits are emerging from hibernation at the Council’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum – and they are guaranteed to be bags of fun.
The portable animal luggage cases are packed full of goodies that every young explorer could possibly need.
They contain a mirror, magnifying glass, binoculars and insect eye so that young visitors can see all the wonderful objects at the museum in different ways.
Just as important, each one contains a costume to wear so that children can look just like the characters – a giraffe, ladybird, chimpanzee and owl.
The animals, insects and birds have all been in hibernation since the pandemic struck in 2020.
But now they have re-emerged and are looking forward to a full return to service.
