Top singing groups headline charity fundraising concert at RAMM Tess & the d’Urbervilles

Three top singing groups will perform in a charity fundraising concert at Exeter’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum in November.

Money raised from ticket sales will be split between the Lord Mayor of Exeter’s chosen charity Force, and the RAMM Development Trust.

Internationally acclaimed acappella group Sultry, from Luxembourg, will be performing their jazzy takes on well-known melodies from the genres of pop, rock, swing and film music.

The ensemble recently won the Lux Life 2023 Best Local Artist Award, and consists of eight singers of different nationalities, with eight voices from bass to soprano.

Exeter’s Musical Theatre Choir, who supported Gareth Malone on his UK and West End tour, will perform much-loved musical theatre tunes. Led by West End vocal coach and professional singer Kelly Young, Exeter Musical Theatre Choir perform show tunes and love to bring musical theatre songs to life.

Tess & the d’Urbervilles, who have performed at many local festivals, will perform their trademark acappella pop songs. The lively acappella group is based in Exeter and sing toe-tapping tunes, deep and rich harmonies and great pop.

The concert takes place at RAMM on Friday 3 November, from 6.30pm to 9pm. There will be a bar on the evening run by Force.

Tickets priced £15 are available to book now from the RAMM’s website.
