Take tea with the Lord Mayor this Saturday Tea with the Lord Mayor

There’s a chance to take tea with the Lord Mayor this Saturday (16 October) in Exeter’s historic Guildhall.

The Lord Mayor’s coffee mornings are back, giving  people the opportunity to enjoy a cuppa and a piece of cake in the oldest working Guildhall in the country, whilst raising money for charity.

This year the Lord Mayor, Cllr Trish Oliver, is raising money for Inclusive Exeter CIC, a community interest company that runs a range of projects for the benefit of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, working together with grassroots groups across the city.

Saturday’s Coffee Morning takes place between 10am and 1pm at Exeter’s historic Guildhall Everyone is welcome to attend – just turn up – and there will be a range of hot drinks and cakes to enjoy.

As part of the event and to coincide with the NHS ‘restart a heart’ campaign, people will be able to watch a short video on this crucial topic.

Inclusive Exeter recently did a multi-language video along the same lines with the assistance of Dr Ghandi, a heart consultant, who will be attending the coffee morning.
