Sir Steve Smith highlights the importance of Exeter’s Recovery Plan

Over the past few months public sector organisations and local businesses have been working together to develop plans to support Exeter’s recovery from Covid-19.

This plan was recently approved by Council’s Executive and has also been endorsed by the Liveable Exeter Place Board, confirming key partner support and collaboration to drive forward a successful recovery for the city.

Sir Steve Smith, Chair of the Liveable Exeter Place Board, explains why the recovery plan is so important and why he thinks Exeter is in a strong position to recover from the pandemic.

He said: “The pandemic has hit everything that we know and we need for the city to be able to come through this not just economically stronger but culturally and in terms of wellbeing.”
