Exeter Plan sets out policies to address shortage of affordable housing The Exeter Plan

The final consultation events on the Exeter Plan will take place at venues in the city next week.

The draft Exeter Plan document looks at how the city will evolve over the next 20 years.

Once adopted, it will replace the current planning policies for the city, and it includes the locations of many of the developments which will be seen in the future.

Public consultation on the plan was launched on 23 October and runs until 15 January.

Hundreds of residents have so far taken part in drop-in events across the city to give their views on how Exeter should develop in the future.

Two further consultation events will be held next week:

  • Tuesday 9 Jan - Exeter Library, Castle Street, Exeter, EX4 3PQ, 11am to 2pm
  • Thursday 11 Jan - St Thomas Cricket & Social Club, Grace Road, Marsh Barton, EX2 8PU, 1pm to 7pm

Copies of the Exeter Plan can be viewed in the reception area at the Civic Centre, as well as in libraries across the city.

Queries can be made by contacting the Local Plans team on 01392 265080 or at planning.policy@exeter.gov.uk
