Queen Elizabeth II’s 11 visits to Exeter form the subject of a new book that was launched today (Friday 18 November) at the city’s historic Guildhall.
The 68-page book includes 44 illustrations of Her Majesty’s visits to the city from 1946 to 2012, and includes a foreword by Cllr Yolonda Henson, the Lord Mayor of Exeter.
Historian Dr Todd Gray gave an illustrated lecture at today’s launch of the commemorative book. All money raised from ticket sales for the event will be donated to the Lord Mayor’s charity, Exeter Dementia Action Alliance.
The book, priced £10 is now available from 18 November from WH Smith in Exeter Guildhall, or by contacting publisher Stevensbooks by email at email@example.com or calling 01392 459760.
