More winners celebrate prizes in the Exeter Community Lottery Exeter Community Lottery

Another resident is celebrating after winning £250 on the Exeter Community Lottery while raising much-needed funds for a good cause in Exeter.

It is the second time in as many weeks that someone has matched four numbers and won £250 on the Exeter Lottery. The prize was won by Ms T, who is raising money for the Baby Room Exeter CIC.

Last week Ms W also won £250 while raising funds for Topsham Swimming Pool Association.

In the latest draw on Saturday two other Exeter residents, Ms C and Mr M, both won £25 while supporting the Exeter Central Fund.

The biggest winners are the good causes being supported – around 90 organisations are set to benefit by more than £55,000 this year thanks to the Exeter Community Lottery.

When people play the weekly lottery they have a chance to choose which good cause to support.

Fifty pence in every pound then goes to that cause, with 10p going towards the Exeter Central Fund. The rest of the money pays for prizes and administration.

Players can also choose to nominate the money to a central fund which then gets distributed among a host of good causes in the city.

Tickets cost just £1 (via direct debit or debit card) with the following prizes up for grabs:

  • Match six numbers and win £25,000
  • Match five numbers and win £2,000
  • Match four numbers and win £250
  • Match three numbers and win £25
  • Match two numbers and win three tickets

Draws take place every Saturday at 8pm with winners notified by email. Players can choose which cause to support when playing the Exeter Community Lottery.
