Latest Citizen set to spring through Exeter letterboxes Exeter Citizen

There’s loads to see in the latest edition of the Exeter Citizen, which springs through letterboxes in Exeter this week (from 11 March).

Packed full with news, information and features – the Spring 2024 edition embraces the new shoots of the season, with a ‘Things to do in Exeter’ and beyond feature, with lots of tips for days out in the city and further afield. The latest edition also looks at how people can get involved in bowls this summer, with a guide to all the bowls clubs across the city.

This month’s front page focus is about the City Council’s ongoing investment in play facilities across Exeter. And there’s handy information on who pays what for their Council Tax, with a breakdown on bandings and costs that show that households living in an average band D property pay just £3.46 per week for City Council services. Indeed the City Council portion of the bill is just 7.9%!

There’s details of swimming lessons at the city’s newest leisure centre, St Sidwell’s Point, as well as everything people need to know about this May’s elections.

Find out about new pieces of art that have been shaped by local communities and who the latest community groups are that are benefitting from ticket sales of the Exeter Community Lottery.

As ever, there’s the handy Your Councillors page with all the information on how to contact City Councillors in every ward, recycling information and news about what’s on at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, Exeter Corn Exchange, as well as the latest from Exeter City of Literature.

Look out for the Citizen as it pops through letter boxes throughout the city during the week commencing 11 March. Once finished with the Citizen can be placed in green wheelie bins and recycled along with other household items
