Join Lord Mayor's Charity Coffee Mornings to Benefit FORCE Cancer Charity

Exeter’s new Lord Mayor Cllr Kevin Mitchell will be hosting a series of coffee mornings at Exeter’s Historic Guildhall to raise funds for his chosen charity, FORCE Cancer Charity.

As an experienced oncology nurse, Cllr Mitchell has dedicated his working life to providing care and support for individuals impacted by cancer. His commitment aligns perfectly with the mission of FORCE.

The Lord Mayor invites everyone to take part in these coffee mornings as a platform for community involvement and fundraising.

The events will be held at Exeter’s historic Guildhall and provide an opportunity to meet the new Lord Mayor and to directly support his mayoral charity.

The first coffee morning takes place on Saturday 27 May, followed by:

• Saturday 22 Jul
• Saturday 26 Aug
• Saturday 30 Sep
• Saturday 28 Oct
• Saturday 25 Nov
• A special Christmas gathering on Saturday 16 Dec
• Saturday 27 Jan
• Saturday 24 Feb
• Saturday 23 Mar
• The final event on Saturday 27 Apr

Apart from fundraising, the events aim to raise awareness about FORCE’s work. The charity is actively working on refurbishing the Oncology Outpatients Department.

Cllr Mitchell and his consort, Ian, look forward to welcoming people at the Guildhall between 11 am and 2pm on the dates above.
