Job seekers encouraged to attend popular Job Fair

Exeter’s largest Jobs Fair gets underway tomorrow (Thursday 23 September), with hundreds of jobs and opportunities up for grabs.

A number of big companies including IKEA, Crealy and Stagecoach will be attending the Jobs Fair, which runs from 11am to 2pm at Exeter Corn Exchange. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The event has been organised by Exeter City Council and Exeter Jobcentre.

Among the other companies attending are:

• Amazon
• Wetherspoons
• Proud to Care
• Exeter City Council

There is no need for jobseekers to book for the event – people can just turn up on the day.

There will be a range of different employers advertising their vacancies, as well as recruitment agencies and other support services.

Jobseekers are advised to come prepared with their CV to hand.

Anyone who is currently claiming benefits should talk to their Work Coach about attending.
