Play equipment at Arena Park

Youngsters can now enjoy new and improved play equipment installed in a popular play area in Exeter.

Improvements have been carried out at Arena Park Play Area by the City Council, replacing tired and old equipment and freshening up the area.

New features include a bright red Ladybird springer, spinning carousel, and multi-play units for both toddlers and young children. New safety surfacing has also been installed.

Cllr Amal Ghusain, Lead Councillor for City Management and Environmental Services, said: “It’s fantastic to see this new equipment installed for youngsters to enjoy. Arena Park is a popular site for local children and I’m really pleased that we’re able to give it a new lease of life.”

The refurbishment is part of a rolling programme the Council is carrying out to maintain and refresh play area equipment in various locations across the city where it is needed.
