Have your say on proposed changes to parliamentary boundaries in Exeter Proposed changes to parliamentary boundaries in Exeter

People in Exeter are being encouraged to have their say on proposed changes to the Parliamentary Constituency boundaries in the city. The proposals affect the eastern side of the city.

The Boundary Commission for England has just launched a review and wants to hear from local residents and communities to make sure their final recommendations to Parliament take account of local views and knowledge.

Reviewing constituency boundaries is an essential process to make sure that individual votes are of broadly equal weight.

It’s easy for people to have their say. They can view and comment on the proposed changes on the Boundary Commission for England’s website at https://www.bcereviews.org.uk/ By putting in your postcode, people will be able to see existing and proposed boundaries on an interactive map.

People have until Monday 2 August to take part in the consultation and respond directly to the Boundary Commission.
