Give us your thoughts on council housing in Exeter Give us your thoughts

Council house tenants and leaseholders in Exeter are being asked to take part in a survey to help shape housing services in the city.

The survey will help Exeter City Council understand which parts of its housing services are most valued and why. The feedback will be used to develop a Neighbourhood Strategy for the city.

Tenants and leaseholders have until Friday 2 July to complete the survey. Five lucky respondents will win a £20 shopping voucher for completing the survey.

Cllr Laura Wright, Lead Councillor for Housing Development & Services, said this was the first time the Council had carried out such a comprehensive consultation with its tenants and leaseholders.

“We’re keen to hear peoples’ thoughts and feelings about the services that we offer and how these services impact them in their local neighbourhood. We’re asking people to rank the different parts of the service in order of their priorities.

“We’d also like to hear if there are any other projects they would like to see the Council involved in that would improve the quality of their homes and neighbourhoods,” she added.

The survey can be found at https://exeter.gov.uk/neighbourhoodsurvey/  with alternative formats, such as paper copies, available on request by calling 01392 265766. People may also choose a relative or friend to complete the survey on their behalf if they don’t have access to a computer.

Cllr Wright added: “It’s really important that we get as much feedback as possible. It’s your service so please let us know your thoughts.”
