Game, set and match to Princesshay

Exeter is limbering up for a summer of sport on the big screen with a chance to catch all the action in the heart of the city.

Starting on Monday 1 July, Princesshay is bringing Wimbledon, Tour de France and the Paris 2024 Olympics to Exeter with live action on a giant screen.

Princesshay Square is once again being transformed into Princesshay Green for six weeks of top sporting action.

So, whether people are die-hard tennis fans, have a passion for pedal power or keen to see some record-breaking action, they’ll be able to see it all unfold on the big screen free of charge on picnic benches and deckchairs within Princesshay Green in the main square.

Throughout the six-week period, Cha Bar will be serving up Bubble Tea and Bingsu desserts with nearby Wagamama, POP Kitchen and Yo! Sushi providing take away options for people to enjoy the atmosphere of a truly international and top drawer sporting summer.

Hannah Overton, Princesshay Marketing and Commercial Manger said: “We’re excited to bring back the big screen for Wimbledon with the addition of the Tour de France and Olympics being aired this summer too.

"We hope this will prove to be a popular pitstop as part of a trip into Exeter. Visitors will also be able to enjoy outdoor games on our summer green including table tennis, a giant chess board, connect 4 and more.”
