Get set for Exeter’s Respect Festival

Exeter’s popular Respect Festival returns next month with an exciting line-up of music, activities, food and so much more.
This year is the 25th Anniversary of Respect, which is supported by Exeter City Council. Held in the beautiful surroundings of Belmont Park, Respect runs from Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 June, with doors opening at 11:30am and running until 7pm on the Saturday and 6:30pm on the Sunday.
Aimed to bring communities together to celebrate its differences and commonalities, this year’s theme is ‘Environmental Justice’.
The Outdoor Stages and open mic will provide a kaleidoscope of performances. Distinguished stars The Henry Girls from Northern Ireland will be headlining on the Saturday, whilst Devon Afrobeat Collective will be headlining on the Sunday. There will be outdoor processions and activities for everyone all ages, plus the familiar opportunities for visitors to sample the wealth of stalls, providing everything from global food to fine clothing and handmade crafts, plus information about local communities and organisations, all delivered with a very genuine smile.
The festival once more will be alcohol free. Instead of alcohol, Nova Bar will bring their non-alcoholic cocktails for everyone to enjoy. Due to the economic climate that we live in, to sustain the festival there will be an entrance fee for each day of £2. Under 16s are free.
