Exeter’s Land Charges team in running for top award Exeter’s Land Charges team

The team that carry out local land and property searches in Exeter is in the running for a top national award.

Exeter City Council’s Land Charges team has been shortlisted for the Customer Satisfaction Award at Land Data’s Local Land Charges Awards 2023.

The team carries out vital local land and property searches required for conveyancing transactions. Land Charges is part of the wider planning services team at the Council.

Cllr Emma Morse, Lead Councillor for Planning and City Development, said: “Nominations are made by solicitors and licensed conveyancers, so being shortlisted is great recognition that our team is delivering a consistently high level of customer service for the people of Exeter.”

Voters were asked to consider quality, efficiency, reliability and value for money when making nominations.

Winners will be announced on the 28 March at the Local Land Charges Training and Development Event 2023.
