Dive into the holiday season as a lifeguard with Exeter Leisure

Young people looking for a holiday job are being asked to consider taking up a role as a lifeguard in Exeter.

Exeter Leisure has opportunities for casual lifeguards at its pools in the city and is keen to hear from anyone aged 16 and above who might like to apply.

What’s more, Exeter Leisure will pay for the training, even if those applying don’t have a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ). No experience is not a problem!

Exeter Leisure is looking for committed, proactive individuals who are ready to dive into an exciting career.

Those applying might be a student looking for a holiday job, a school leaver eyeing up a full-time role, or someone interested in making a difference in the leisure industry.

Successful applicants will work at one of the following - Northbrook Pool, Riverside Leisure Centre, or the brand-new St Sidwell's Point in the heart of Exeter.

Cllr Duncan Wood, Lead Councillor for Leisure and Physical Activity, said: “This is a great opportunity to work, learn and make new friends.

“Exeter has great leisure facilities but we need the staff to make them tick.”
