Council’s Annual Tenant Report reveals highlights and challenges Tenant Annual Report for 2020-2021

The Council has published its Tenant Annual Report for 2020-2021 - and Council tenants can expect to find a copy through their letterboxes soon.

An online version of the report, which is produced by Housing and Development Services, is also available for everyone to download on the Council’s website

The report includes information about how the service has performed over the last year across key areas.

It also includes some of the highlights and challenges that the service faced, including:

  • The installation of 43 new kitchens and 62 new bathrooms
  • The letting of 241 properties
  • The installation of new energy efficiency measures in 200 properties
  • The construction of 10 new affordable family-sized homes, built to Passivhaus standard

2020/2021 was also the first year of the pandemic, during which the service had to adapt quickly so that they could continue to work in a safe and socially distanced way. The report provides a summary of how this was achieved, and how tenants were kept informed throughout the year.

Any Exeter City Council tenants who would like to get involved in helping to produce next year’s annual report should consider joining the Resident Communication Panel.

There are plenty of other ways to get involved – more information is available on our Resident involvement webpage.
