Council Leader backs Exeter Chiefs ahead of big European semi-final

Council Leader Phil Bialyk has recorded a message of support to Exeter Chiefs ahead of their big European Champions Cup semi-final clash against Toulouse at Sandy Park on Saturday.

Cllr Bialyk said: “It is wonderful that the Chiefs are in the European Champions Cup semi-final. Exeter Chiefs mean a lot to this city, with the work they do with the Chiefs Foundation and the Academy, they are really embedded in our city.

“We all need to get behind the Chiefs – they are our team, they are a great thing for Exeter and their success is just fantastic.

“I hope we can all support the Chiefs wherever we are socialising on Saturday – of course with social distancing – and let’s all just hope we can get to the final.”

The game kicks off behind closed doors at 3pm at Sandy Park.
