Some of the city’s biggest and best known employers are taking part in Exeter’s largest jobs fair later this month.

Exeter Autumn Jobs Fair 2022, organised by Exeter City Council and Exeter Jobcentre Plus, takes place at the Corn Exchange on Tuesday 27 September, from 11am to 3pm.

Jobseekers do not need to book – just turn up on the day. There will be a large range of different employers advertising their vacancies, as well as recruitment agencies and other support services.

More than 40 employers and organisations will be taking part, including:

  • Royal Devon University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
  • Courtyard by Marriott
  • McDonald's
  • Crealy Theme Park and Resort
  • University of Exeter
  • Lidl GB
  • Exeter City Council
  • Stagecoach
  • Devon County Council
  • BT
  • NEXT
  • IKEA

Cllr Duncan Wood, who has responsibility for Exeter’s Skills Agenda, said: “We are pleased to once again be running a Jobs Fair in conjunction with the Job Centre to support their customers, and the wider public to explore the jobs that are currently on offer across Exeter and the wider area.

“It’s fantastic to be able to welcome back employers such as IKEA, BT, the NHS and many more, as well as some employers that haven’t attended before such as Jurassic Fibre and NEXT. There really will be plenty of opportunities for everyone.”

Jobseekers should come prepared with their CV, including a digital copy if possible. Anyone currently claiming benefits should talk to their Work Coach about attending.

Interview space will be provided for companies wishing to engage with potential candidates on the day.

Candidates should be supported with the application process by employers accepting CVs or offering paper application forms so that candidates can complete them during the fair.
