City’s biggest jobs fair takes place at Exeter Corn Exchange

Jobseekers were able to meet some of Exeter’s biggest and best known employers at the Exeter Jobs Fair in the city centre.

Hundreds of jobs and opportunities were available at the Jobs Fair - Exeter’s largest – organised by Exeter City Council and Exeter Job Centre.

Among the employers attending were:

• IKEA
• Haven Holiday Parks
• University of Exeter
• Lidl
• Devon and Somerset First and Rescue
• NHS Partnership Trust
• Stagecoach

A large range of different employers took part to advertise their vacancies, as well as recruitment agencies and other support services.

Cllr Rachel Sutton, Exeter City Council’s Lead Councillor for the Skills Agenda, said: “We know that a lot of people are coming out of the difficult couple of years that we’ve had, and the Jobs Fair is a great opportunity for people to take a look around and have a look at the different opportunities out there.

“We are absolutely delighted that so many employers and businesses and supporting this event, and we are working in partnership with Exeter JobCentre to match those who are looking for employees with this who are looking for new opportunities."
