City Council Election results – 4 May 2023

Labour remains in control of Exeter City Council following the 2023 City Council Elections on Thursday 4 May.
After Thursday’s vote the Labour Party has 25 seats (no change), with the Green Party now on 6 (+1), Conservatives 4 (-1), Liberal Democrats 3 (+1), and Independents 1 (-1).
The Labour Party gained one seat in Topsham, while Liberal Democrats gained one seat in St Thomas. The Green Party also gained one seat, in Newtown (previously held by Independent).
Voters went to the polls in a third of the seats - 13 wards across the city.
A total of 13 councillors were elected on the night – Labour 7, Green 3, Liberal Democrat 2, Conservative 1.
Counting took place at the Riverside Leisure Centre, and the overall turnout was 36 per cent.

KETCHIN Andy: Green Party Candidate (1373 votes) - Pennsylvania
SNOW Martyn Ivor: Labour and Co-operative Party (1194 votes) - Pinhoe
MILLER Jenna Mollie: Labour Party (1251 votes) - Priory
BEGLEY Jane Margaret Frances: Labour Party (1062 votes) - St. David’s
MOORE Diana Frances: Green Party Candidate (1322 votes) - St. Loye's
SHERIDAN Alison Jayne: The Conservative Party Candidate (1127 votes) - St. Thomas
FULLAM Adrian Alan: Liberal Democrat (1217 votes) - Topsham
