Call-out for artists to take part in summer activities at Exeter Quayside A programme of summer activities

A call has gone out to find artists to take part in a series of summer waterside sessions at Exeter’s Quayside.

Exeter Canal & Quay Trust is running a programme of summer activities from 23 July to 30 August.

Building on the success of its previous Summer at the Quayside programmes, the Trust is looking to commission a range of individuals or organisations to create a family-friendly offer on the Quayside over the school summer holidays.

The Transit Shed has been set aside for Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays, although Friday slots have already been allocated.

The Trust is looking for activities that reflect the setting and heritage of the Quayside in some way. There are some incredible stories to be found and organisers would love these to be built into its cultural programme wherever possible.

All events or sessions must be free for the participant to access. Preference is for informal drop-in sessions, but if booking is key to the project then the Trust can talk about ways of making this work.

Exeter Canal & Quay Trust will pay fees and expenses, so those applying are requested to include these within their applications.
