Are you registered to vote in the General Election?

Published: 12 November 2019

Registering to vote is quick and easy - don't miss out!

There’s still time to register to vote in next month’s General Election.

People have until midnight on 26 November to register. The General Election takes place on Thursday 12 December but people must be on the electoral register to vote on the day or by post in advance.

Registering is simple – just go to the Register to vote website and fill in the application form.

Any students living in Exeter will need to ensure that they are on the electoral register in Exeter if they want to vote here. Otherwise, they will need to arrange a postal or proxy vote in their home town or city.

Those who wish to apply for a postal vote can do so by going to the Register to vote website.

The deadline for postal vote applications is 5pm on 26 November.
