Ambitious trustees wanted to join Exeter City of Literature Board

Exeter City of Literature is currently recruiting trustees to join the Board.

The organisation had a remarkable 2023, reaching over 2,000 people with its events. It participated in its first UNESCO author residency with Barcelona, launching the Penguin Books Vending Machine at St David’s Station and printed the first literary map of Devon.

It’s an incredible achievement for a small non-profit, and the Board and staff are ready to grow in numbers and impact.

Exeter City of Literature is looking for ambitious candidates who have experience in the following areas:

• Fundraising experience with Trusts & Foundations
• Donor and/or corporate fundraising experience
• Business development
• Legal expertise, particularly around IP and/or CIOs
• Experience working with under-represented communities

Candidates should have links to Exeter or Devon but don’t need to live here. The deadline to apply is 19 February.
