Thank you for the messages of support

Thank you all so much for showing such great support to our crews as they’ve carried on their rounds. It’s really making a difference during this extremely challenging period for them.

We’ve had some wonderful comments and messages on social media; people have been waving and clapping as the crews have passed; residents have been shouting their thanks from windows and leaving notes on their bins.

Every note the crews receive they put up on the wall at the depot. Here’s what the noticeboard outside their supervisors’ office looks like at the moment.

So from the crews and everyone here in waste collections and recycling: thank you, and stay safe.
