Leader Column - It’s always great to start with some good news, and again St Sidwell’s Point is continuing to be recognised nationally for the fantastic facility it is.
The UK’s first super energy-efficient Extra Care scheme has opened in Exeter, with a number of residents already settling in to the state-of-the-art facility.
I want to start by offering my condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. I was very proud of the way in which Exeter responded as the capital of Devon.
The team behind the construction of Exeter’s pioneering new leisure centre St Sidwell’s Point have been honoured for their work at a prestigious national awards ceremony.
I’m sure that everyone has enjoyed this summer’s warm weather. It’s important that at times of extreme weather we all need to look after ourselves and check on any neighbours who may need our support - we need to continue to look out for each other.
