Now is the perfect time to sign up for an Exeter Leisure membership

Residents are being encouraged to sign up for Exeter Leisure membership and take advantage of the new-look service which has been transformed over the last year.

Millions of pounds have been invested by the Council in its leisure service to create top quality facilities and a warm and welcoming environment.

The service recently return to the direct control of the Council after being run by a third party provider for many years.

Leisure memberships start at £25 and include access to all of the Council’s leisure sites across the city.

Cllr Duncan Wood, Lead Councillor for Leisure & Physical Activity, said: “It has been a brilliant year and we have more to deliver. Millions of pounds have been invested in our facilities since we took the leisure service back under the control of the Council.

“We want the people of Exeter to enjoy the best that they can get. So if you’re thinking about getting fit and thinking about gym membership, you need to think about Exeter Leisure. It is a brilliant alternative - you don’t join one gym, you join three, all over the city.

“You can get access to swimming pools, gyms, spa and health treatments as well as a huge range of classes and indoor activities. People who haven’t used our facilities for a while will really notice the difference. A Leisure membership really is incredible value for money.”
