New winter walking tour programme launched by Red Coat Guides

Exeter’s Red Coat Guides have announced the launch of the 2024/25 Winter Walking Tour Programme, running from 1 October to 31 March 2025. With free daily guided tours, visitors and residents alike can explore the historic beauty of Exeter in a variety of ways.
The tours offer a glimpse into the city’s rich heritage, with options such as Forgotten Exeter, Medieval Exeter, Ghosts & Legends, and Royalty in Exeter. New to this season is the special Writers Around Exeter tour, scheduled for 6 March 2025, and the Herstories tour on 8 March 2025.
Tours start at the Hooker Statue on Cathedral Green and last approximately 90 minutes. Booking is not required for individual tours, but group bookings and special tours must be arranged in advance. Whether it’s uncovering hidden city corners or learning about Exeter’s Roman walls, there’s something for everyone this winter.
