Exeter’s newest market is on the lookout for new stall holders to come and join them.
Eastgate Market launched in November and runs all-year-round in Sidwell Street on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 2pm to 8pm.
InExeter who run the market, said it was keen to attract new stall holders. Lottie Stanley, Markets Manager, said: “Has the last two years, enabled you to realise your own business goals, have you taken a leap (however big) and started your own small enterprise or start up?
“Perhaps you really want to take the leap into trading but don’t quite know how? Have you invested time, research and love into developing your own products or produce?
“We’ve seen tremendous support for shopping small and shopping local over the recent years and at the same time realise the necessary move towards a more sustainable lifestyle.”
In response to this, InExeter are offering a contemporary opportunity for sustainable independent businesses to find their feet and trial their products with their local community.
The Eastgate aims to provide a springboard for small businesses to expand. With a strong focus on inclusivity, flexible booking, stalls and coverings provided and plenty of other options, trading at Eastgate is accessible and supportive.
From seasoned stall holders to first time market traders, Eastgate provides a city centre platform for local entrepreneurs.
Lottie added: “We are keen to hear from anyone who is interested in becoming involved in Eastgate, and helping to build a market which can serve the people of the South West for years to come.”
