Meet the seal slipping onboard Exe Estuary boat

Workers who maintain the Exe Estuary are visited daily by a friendly seal that slips aboard their boat.
The team from Exeter City Council turn up for work every day to maintain the navigational aids on the estuary so that boats can sail safely up the Exe.
Turning up for work at Exmouth Marina, the team have to take a small boat out to their moored vessel, the Can Doo.
When they arrive they often find a seal or two resting on the back of the boat taking in the scenery. Sometimes there has been a family of three seals aboard the boat.
The seals eventually slip off the boat in search of a fish or two for breakfast once the team start up the boat.
"It's things like this that make it all worthwhile," said Harbour Patroller Alan Harwood.
