There are five Little Free Libraries in Pinhoe, with a sixth one expected soon. There are also several others around the city, some of which were started with a Ward grant from the City Council.
Cllr Oliver said: “The Hill Barton Little Free Library is something of an exemplar, with a great variety of books and themes, and I am delighted to be attending this amazing community facility on World Book Day.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting residents and their children, who use the library - World Book Day have donated book tokens for me to give out to the first 30 children.”
