Litter picking equipment available to borrow

Communities and individuals in Exeter can take advantage of the loan of free litter pickers and materials in order to take part in this month’s ‘Great British September Clean’.

The event is being organised by Keep Britain Tidy after the Great British Spring Clean was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Exeter City Council can loan out litter pickers, gloves, bags and hi-vis jackets to groups or individuals who want to clean up their neighbourhoods for this event and all-year-round.

Keep Britain Tidy are encouraging people to organise a private clean-up with up to five other family members and friends or pledge to do their own individual clean-up as part of the event.
