Key events in Exeter cancelled due to coronavirus situation

Published: 17 March 2020

In light of the growing concerns around the coronavirus (Covid-19) organisers have announced that several key events planned in the Exeter in the coming months have been cancelled.

This summer’s Exeter Festival in Northernhay Gardens, from 3-5 July, and the planned VE Day celebrations in the city centre, on 8 May, have both been cancelled.

If you have bought tickets for Exeter Festival, you do not have to do anything, we will cancel your tickets and issue a full refund to your payment card. This should reach you in the next seven days.

The Net Zero Exeter Mobilisation Summit, scheduled for 26 March 26 at Exeter City Football Club, is being postponed.

It is currently the intention to reschedule this event at a date to be arranged later in the year.

Exeter’s Net Zero plan will still be delivered to the City Council by our partners Exeter City Futures, and will include insights gained from our extensive engagement activities to date.
