Get set to party with Jubilee celebrations

Published: 1 March 2022

Exeter's Jubilee Street Party

Exeter is getting ready to party with a summer street party in the city centre.

The celebration is part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

It all takes place in the High Street on Thursday 2 June, from 11am until 3pm and residents and visitors are welcome to attend.

Benches and tables will be set up in the High Street for people to enjoy the festivities. There will be live music and people can bring their own picnic or click and collect from nearby restaurants. Please note that the consumption of alcohol on the High Street is not permitted.

As part of the celebrations there will also be a Military and Community ‘village’ on the Cathedral Green.

More details will be released at a later date. In the meantime, anyone planning an event in their neighbourhood is urged to get in touch with the City Council, so it can be added to the events listing on its website.
