Exeter Farmers' Market open for business while Sunday Market is cancelled

Published: 18 March 2020

Exeter Farmers Market

Exeter Farmers’ Market, which takes place every Thursday from 9am until 2pm on the corner of Fore Street and South Street, will be open tomorrow (Thursday 19 March) for business as usual.

Some of the market stalls may be in slightly different places due to advice on distancing in relation to Coronavirus. Some market traders may also not be attending.

The Farmers’ Market is a great place to buy and sell a delicious range of foods such as venison, pork, lamb, beef, chicken, organic fruit and vegetables, apple juice, fish, chicken, preserves, cakes, bread, pies and much more.

Regrettably we've taken the step of cancelling this weekend’s Sunday Market and Car Boot Sale at the Matford Centre in line with national advice on mass gatherings. All future events will now not take place until further notice.

For future announcements on the Sunday Market and Car Boot Sale go to the City Council website
